Initiate emergency call
The emergency process can be started in two ways:
Manual
Hold the emergency button on the bracelet for 3 seconds, anytime, anywhere.
Automatic
The bracelet's fall detection recognizes a fall and automatically initiates the emergency process.
20-second safety window
In both cases, the bracelet vibrates, flashes, and beeps for 20 seconds. During this time, the emergency call can still be canceled.
False alarm? Simply press the emergency button again; the emergency call will be cancelled immediately.
Emergency contacts will be notified
If the SOS is not canceled, all emergency contacts will immediately receive a notification via the My Gardia app.

Common questions.
What happens if Gardia detects a fall?
The emergency process can be triggered in two different ways:
1) You press and hold the permanently installed emergency button on the bracelet for 3 seconds, thus activating the emergency process yourself.
2) The fall detection of the Gardia emergency bracelet detects a fall and automatically initiates the emergency process.
In both cases, whether manually or automatically, the bracelet vibrates, flashes, and beeps for 20 seconds. During this time, the wearer has the option to cancel the emergency call by repeatedly pressing the emergency button. This can be helpful if the emergency call was triggered unintentionally. If the emergency call is not canceled, an emergency call is sent to the My Gardia app of the emergency contacts.
After a successful emergency call, your emergency contacts will be immediately informed via the My Gardia app and can establish a direct voice connection with you or navigate to your location.
If you have additionally booked the Bosch emergency call centre, your emergency call will be forwarded directly to a 24/7 emergency call centre. This centre can establish a voice connection with you and take all necessary measures to get you help as quickly as possible.

Who is contacted first in an emergency?
You decide that yourself. Gardia can first contact your stored relatives or – with the Plus or Premium tariffs – directly contact the 24/7 emergency call centre. The order can be flexibly set in the app.
Does Gardia also work on the go and without a smartphone?
Yes. The bracelet has its own mobile connectivity and GPS. Therefore, the wearer does not need their own smartphone or Wi-Fi. Gardia can be used at home, in the garden, and on the go.
Am I tracked all the time?
No. You first order the Gardia bracelet and can try it out at your leisure. You then select the appropriate service plan after receiving the bracelet. An active plan is subsequently required for the mobile, app and emergency call functions.
Do I have to subscribe immediately upon purchase?
No, you only choose your tariff after delivery. This allows you to test Gardia at your leisure and then decide which subscription suits you best.
