Does the wearer need a smartphone?
No. The wearer does not need a smartphone or Wi-Fi. The Gardia emergency bracelet has its own integrated mobile connection.
Relatives can receive notifications on their smartphone in our app and manage the settings together with the wearer.
Does Gardia also work on the go?
Yes. Gardia is not tied to a base station and can be used at home, in the garden, and on the go. Thanks to the integrated mobile connection, the bracelet remains reachable wherever a supported mobile network is available.
What happens in a fall?
The smart fall detection in the bracelet automatically triggers an alarm. Alternatively, the emergency call button can be pressed at any time. The designated contacts or the 24/7 emergency call centre are then informed and react directly.
Can I speak directly into the bracelet?
Yes. Gardia has a speaker and a microphone. After an emergency call, you can speak directly with relatives or the emergency call centre via the bracelet - without an additional phone.
Who will be informed in an emergency?
It's in your hands. Simply choose your preferred process in the app:
- Option 1 (Emergency contacts first): In the event of an alarm, your stored emergency contacts will be notified. Only if no one answers the emergency call will the 24/7 emergency call centre step in as a reliable backup.
- Option 2 (Professionals first): You can also set it so that an alarm always goes directly to the trained experts at the call centre.
Good to know: As soon as the first person (whether a relative or the call centre) answers the emergency call and organizes help, the emergency chain is successfully completed.
Is there a monthly fee?
Yes. A service plan is what lets the bracelet work entirely on its own, wherever you are. Your first month is free, then you choose:
- Basic (app and your own emergency contacts).
- Plus, which adds the 24/7 Bosch emergency call centre.
Good to know: you can switch between plans or cancel at the end of any month. There is no minimum term.
