Additionally, there must be an emergency situation where help cannot always be summoned independently. The application will verify whether the conditions for cost coverage are met.
You purchase the Gardia bracelet once yourself. The long-term care insurance fund contributes to the monthly service costs from care level 1 with a fixed rate of €25.50 (net amount). Specifically, this means:
After your purchase, you will receive all information regarding the application process. You can then complete the application step by step and submit it to your long-term care insurance fund. If your application is rejected, you will incur absolutely no retrospective costs for the trial period. There is also no automatic contract extension. You then have full control: If you wish to continue using Gardia, simply actively sign up for a suitable plan yourself. And if you don't fully understand the letter from your long-term care insurance fund – get in touch. We will be happy to help you interpret it.
Processing by the long-term care insurance fund usually takes a few weeks. The exact duration depends on the respective long-term care insurance fund and the completeness of the documents. As soon as you receive feedback, you will know whether and to what extent the costs will be covered.
