Gardia Emergency Bracelet: More security for seniors – simple, reliable, suitable for everyday use
In old age, the fear of falling or sudden weakness grows. Many seniors enjoy living independently – but an emergency can happen at any time: in the bathroom, on the stairs, while out for a walk. A personal alarm bracelet provides peace of mind and freedom of action. It combines safety for seniors with emergency help at the touch of a button – and relieves relatives who cannot always be on site.
The Gardia personal alarm bracelet for seniors was developed precisely for this purpose: as senior-friendly technology that is easy to understand and reacts reliably in an emergency. This way, everyday life remains free and self-determined – with a silent safety net on the wrist.
What is the Gardia emergency wristband?
In short: an emergency call wristband for seniors with automatic fall detection (fall alarm) and a manual emergency button. Emergency contacts are informed via the accompanying My Gardia App, and optionally also the professional 24/7 emergency call center from Bosch. Depending on the settings, a voice connection is established, and the location can be shared so that help arrives quickly.
How it Works: Fall Alarm, Emergency Call, Easy Operation & Coverage
Fall Detection & Manual Emergency Call
If a person falls, the automatic fall detection triggers an alarm. In addition, help can be requested at any time at the push of a button – for example, in cases of dizziness, shortness of breath, or severe discomfort. This gives wearers control in any situation. If it is an accidentally triggered alarm, it can be canceled within the 20-second emergency sequence.
Voice Connection & Location Sharing
After the alarm, up to 6 personal emergency contacts and/or Bosch's professional 24/7 emergency call center are notified – depending on the stored settings. They can establish a voice connection with the wearer. The My Gardia App simultaneously transmits the current location to the stored contacts and/or the emergency call center. Relatives immediately know that help is needed.
Simple One-Button Operation, Multiple Contacts
The system is deliberately kept simple. One-button operation facilitates emergency calls. In the app, up to six emergency contacts can be stored – practical for family, friends, or neighbors.
Range & Usability On-the-Go
The Gardia emergency wristband for seniors works at home and on the go – almost throughout Europe. Thanks to the integrated, roaming-capable E-SIM, no stationary radio receiver is necessary; the wristband establishes the connection independently. For many users, this is more comfortable than a classic home emergency call system that only works within their own four walls.
Battery & Service
Depending on usage, a battery life of up to 21 days is possible before recharging is required. A basic subscription is required for the mobile communications and service components.
As early as care level 1, you may be entitled to reimbursement of costs for the monthly PflegePlus subscription. You can find more information here.
Benefits for Seniors: Security, Self-Reliance, Independence
More safety in everyday life
With the unique FallGuard fall detection and one-button emergency call, help is only seconds away. This takes away the fear of being alone and lowers the inhibition threshold to do things again: a short walk around the house, a visit to the café, gardening. The emergency call wristband for seniors strengthens the feeling: "I can – and if something happens, I'll get help quickly."
Everyday life remains self-determined
Instead of avoiding activities because "something could happen," the wristband supports brave but safe decisions. Anyone who wants to actively maintain their independence will find a silent helper in the Gardia emergency call wristband, which does not patronize but protects.
Simple and discreet
The senior-friendly technology reduces operating hurdles: one-button concept – no red button, no stigmatization, but clear feedback and the My Gardia App for the family. This keeps usage discreet – without complicated menus.
Benefits for relatives: relief, overview, fast help
Reassurance – even from afar
Anyone who accompanies parents or grandparents knows the worry "I hope everything is okay." The emergency wristband for seniors takes pressure off long-distance relationships: If an emergency is triggered, all stored emergency contacts receive an alarm via the My Gardia App and can establish a voice connection with the wearer and take targeted action.
Simple Collaboration
Multiple emergency contacts can be stored. This strengthens teamwork within the family: Who is currently nearby? Who calls back first? Who drives off? This creates a clear emergency plan that works in everyday life.
Fast Help in an Emergency
Thanks to voice connection and location sharing, the time until help arrives is shortened. Relatives or the emergency call center coordinate reliably – saving minutes that count in emergencies. A personal health profile and stored information on key depositing are transmitted to emergency services by the emergency call center in an emergency and ensure fast and effective help in an emergency.

More than just an emergency wristband
The Gardia emergency bracelet for seniors combines intelligent fall detection, emergency assistance, and easy operation in one device that seamlessly integrates into everyday life.
The bracelet is a great idea. Since I was recently incapacitated myself, my daughter was looking for a solution in case I'm alone (e.g. during a vacation) and need help. She came across this bracelet, and we immediately ordered and set it up. It's easy to use, and I feel very safe and well taken care of with it.
