Common questions.
What happens when Gardia detects a fall?
The emergency process can be triggered in two different ways:
1) You press and hold the built-in emergency button on the bracelet for 3 seconds, activating the emergency process yourself.
2) The fall detection of the Gardia emergency bracelet detects a fall and automatically starts the emergency process.
In both cases the bracelet vibrates, flashes and beeps for 20 seconds. During this time the wearer can cancel the emergency call by pressing the emergency button again – helpful if the alarm was triggered by mistake. If the call is not cancelled, the alarm is sent to the My Gardia App of your emergency contacts.
Up to 6 emergency contacts are informed immediately via the My Gardia App. They can talk to you directly through the bracelet and navigate to your location.

Who will be contacted first in an emergency?
You decide. You can store up to 6 emergency contacts in the app and set the order in which they are alerted.
Does Gardia work on the go and without a smartphone?
Yes. The bracelet has its own mobile connectivity and GPS. Therefore, the wearer does not need their own smartphone or Wi-Fi. Gardia can be used at home, in the garden, and on the go.
Am I tracked all the time?
No. You first order the Gardia bracelet and can try it out at your leisure. You activate the Family plan once the bracelet has arrived – it is then required for the mobile, app and emergency call functions.
Do I have to take out the plan when I buy the bracelet?
No, you only activate the Family plan after delivery. That way you can test Gardia at your leisure first – and the first month is free.
